The solution to war is peace… through war. Does this sound like a certain situation going on in the middle east right now?
I would venture to suggest ‘peace’ should not be the end game in the middle east region, but rather respect for ALL peoples, rights and religions. Could it be that the elusive ‘peace’ that is toted as the holy grail of our modern world is a ideology that underpins perpetual war, masquerading as peace?
As the US and Israel prepare to attack Iran and the unending assault on Palestinians, let us re-evaluate what our goals and mission as people on this planet should be.
Do we really want to bomb eachother into submission in the name of peace, or do we want to respect all points of view, all religions, all rights, all lands, and refuse to walk down the destructive path of war dressed up as peace?
The UN has declared the use of drones in Pakistan by the US to be illegal as it basically violates the rules of war and gives the US a license to kill indiscriminately.
Obama has sanctioned 134 hits by drones. And this guy is a Nobel Peace Laureate? Yeah, that’s right. he was given that award “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” [read article]
And now the FAA is under ‘pressure’ to allow indiscriminate use of drones to police the US populace, on home soil. Pressure from whom? Homeland security, Department of Defense, CIA, FBI, countless other alphabet soup agencies and police around the country.
Some talkback radio and internet radio have had callers reporting that they have already seen drones being used and tested in American skies. And just days ago, this secret drone test in the Houston area… watch the video -> http://current.com/news/91878877_spy-drones-in-usa-discovered.htm
With the advent of non-lethal weapons like microwave guns and sound cannons, together with high powered cameras, laser targeting and GPS, it stands to reason these units will fast become the preferred method of policing the American people. Sounds like science fiction, but it’s here folks.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, your freedoms as provided for under the US Constitution and Bill Of Rights by your founding fathers as INALIENABLE (meaning nobody can take them away from you)… are about to be taken away.
The charming Elena Kagan, who seems to be the darling of the media and the Democrats of course, has some very sick views on what the United States should be in the 21st century.
Namely, she wants free speech banned, guns banned and thats just her getting warmed up. There’s no doubt in this writer’s mind, that she certainly aspires to ring the death knell of liberty. She’s Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court, despite not having judicial experience, and she’s the protege of Cass Sunstein who is our most excellent ‘information czar’ in the White House.
What does Cass want to do that’s so bad? Oh, censor the Internet is all. But hey, don’t criticize him… he only wants the political debate out here to be fair and balanced. He wants both sides of the argument to get equal airtime. What that really means is that this article also needs to tote the party line. So, let’s live in the future for a minute shall we?
Warning: The impartiality of this article has been questioned. Cass Sunstein is a good man, a fair man and a man of the people. Sure, he isn’t elected by the people, but Obama picked him and since he is the President, he is the decider in chief II. He embraces liberty and freedom and individual rights and has your best interests in mind when he suggests the fairness doctrine be implemented on the last open source medium of free speech on the planet. You may hear his own words as he describes the wonderfully balanced world we’ll find ourselves in after regulation of the Internet in this audio. Note that this website is not considered fair or balanced by the White House. Please seek a more truthful viewpoint elsewhere such as our mainstream media outlets.
